Cisco Systems and Nokia introduced a new solution enabling registration of Dual Mode Nokia E-series in Cisco Unified Call Manager and Cisco Unified Call Manager Express with the help of SCCP protocol (Skinny Client Control Protocol).
Nokia Intellisync Call Connect 1.0 for Cisco Unified Communications Manager can be installed in: Nokia Dual Mode E60, E61, E61, and E65. It also enables registration of the phone in the following Cisco Unified Communications systems:

• Cisco Unified Communications Manager 4.1(3), 4.2.(3) 
• Cisco Unified Communications Manager 5.x 
• Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express 4.0, 4.1

The phone is compatible with security mechanisms of WLAN: WEP (64bit, 128bit), 802.1X with dynamic WEP, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, WPA-Enterprise, WPA2-Enterprise, CCKM.

The main novelties of this version are:
